TIP #10 -- To avoid possible infections from kittens scratching and biting my ankles, spraying my pant legs with non-toxic insect repellent (like Skin So Soft) worked for me.  Molly - 9/4/17

TIP #9 -- Carrying a bunch of long sticks, like small tree branches, is easier if you wrap a bungee cord around the middle for a handle. Molly - 9/4/17

TIP #8 --  The benefits of procrastination:  (1) If your pet makes a messy poop in a bad place like a carpet, cover it well with baking soda, place a see-through container over it, and wait a couple of days until it dries.  The poop will stick together and be easier to scoop up, and then you can put more baking soda or Arm & Hammer Pet Fresh (a super odor eater) over it until the smell goes away.  (2)  Fresh brush cuttings can be slippery, but when the pile is dry they will stick together in a heap that can be speared with a garden fork or rake for moving to a disposal area.  Molly - 9/4/17

TIP #7 --  What's at least ten times more effective than paper towels for soaking up liquid messes?  Puppy training pads.  Unlike towels, the plastic backing allows you to place a weight on the pad without transferring the wetness.  Cut them down to the size of the spill as needed.  Molly - 8/24/17

TIP #6 --  Remember “white-out,” the typewriter  correction fluid?  If you’re a certain age and like me, you probably have a bottle stashed somewhere inside your desk. Well, unless the fluid has turned to stone, don’t throw it away. Instead, use it to mark the UP side of all of those black phone chargers, USB connectors, and power cords that fit into their sockets only one way. A little dab will do, save time and cut down on frustration.

TIP #5 -- What do used tea bags and rolls of cheap toilet paper have in common?  They are great for wiping up little drops of goop instead of wasting a whole paper towel.  Tea bags also have a mild antiseptic effect.  Molly - 8/2/17

TIP #4 --  Easy way to dispose of large cardboard boxes: soak them with water (as in the monsoon), and they will tear apart in your bare hands.  Molly McKinney - 8/1/17

TIP #3 -- Worksaver for windshields: Unholey, mismatched socks can be reborn by filling one to the ankle with kitty litter, tying it off at the opening, stuffing it inside another (mismatched) sock and placing it on your dash in the winter to keep your windshield from fogging up.  diedre Knight - 7/31/17

TIP #2 --  To discourage insects from invading pet food:  Place it in a larger dish coated with non-stick cooking spray like Pam, or purchase an anti-ant dish with a moat for water.  Molly McKinney - 7/29/17

TIP#1 -- For scrapes and tears in skin:  KeriCure liquid spray bandage for horses also works on humans.  Master Giant Skin Patch liquid bandage is a clear varnish applied with a brush.   Molly McKinney  - 7/28/17
